•Sunday, September 12th: Sunday School Begins!!


-Sunday School will be every Sunday, unless otherwise noted, from 9 to 10 am.

The Middle School students (6th – 8th) will meet in Fellowship Hall and the Senior High students (9th – 12th) will be meet in the Upper   Room.


-Middle School: This year we will be studying through the BRICK (Built Right In Christ's Kingdom) program. It will give us the opportunity to take an extensive look at the foundations of our Christian faith. (Please Note: BRICK will require some out of class homework.) BRICK will be lead by Jeff Vogel. For your convenience, attached to this letter is a note from Jeff that outlines and explains BRICK in greater detail.


- Senior High: For the first part of the year we will be following a curriculum titled “How To Read The Bible.” We will explore and study the means to more completely understand what we read in the Bible and, specifically, how we can apply its teachings to our daily lives. Jordan Seiffert and I will be leading and teaching this class.


•Wednesday, September 15th: FALL Kick-Off!!


- REMIX will be begin at 6:30 and will go until 8:00 pm in the Upper Room.

It will be a night filled with fellowship, worship, and even a few games and prizes. I will be giving a talk called "Left Overs: What Are You God," in which the students will be challenged to reflect on where they “are” in their relationship with Christ and what their faith is made of.

•Thursday, September 16th: PARENT MEETING


-A parent meeting is scheduled from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the Upper Room.

It will give us an opportunity to get to know one another and the rest

of the volunteer staff better, to get questions answered and to find out

more about what's planned for youth group. If your son or daughter is

involved in BRICK (Middle School Sunday School), is a part of the Bible

quizzing team, or is planning on going on the Fall Retreat (see below) we

highly recommend that you attend this meeting so that you can get the full

scoop on these events and programs. Jeff Vogel will also be briefly sharing about both BRICK and Bible Quizzing and addressing any questions that you may have. Parents, also if you have other commitments at church on Thursday nights (ie. choir practice) we ask that you consider having only one of  you attend this meeting so that the bases are covered all around.



•Sunday, September 19th : Welcome to the Family Class

   -If you are new to the Grace Church family I encourage your family to attend our “Welcome to the Family” class. This is a six-week class that will meet  during the Family Bible Hour from 9 to 10 am that will help you become acclimated with the history and beliefs of Grace and also with others within our church family.

•October 8th-10th : INFECTION (Fall Retreat)


-We will be headed up to Covenant Pines for a weekend of fun, worship,

fellowship and learning about what it means to have an INFECTOUS love

and witness for Jesus Christ. (Cost: $120, Brochure to come.)
